From Glory to Glory: Our Journey to the Image of Christ

This seminar explores what God’s Word teaches as to the Christian’s goal of becoming like Jesus. What specifically is meant by being transformed (or conformed) into the image of Christ? What did God do through Christ to allow this to occur? Why is this necessary? How is this accomplished? What is the Christian’s role? What is the Holy Spirit’s role? How is God’s Word involved? How does the world work against this lofty goal? Peter’s declaration to be holy, because God is Holy sounds daunting, but it is our call. The objective of this seminar will be to provide the proper framework for this developmental journey, and to lay a fertile foundation to pursue Christian maturity.
